The profile of Green Snapper is an importer of entertainment systems (TVs, DVD players, CD players and associated cabling, etc) for wholesale resale to trade customers within their domestic marketplace.

Quoting Productivity (by Sales Rep)


QuoteWerks Report, Quoting Productivity

The Quoting Productivity by Sales Rep report helps you understand how your individual Sales Representatives are performing individually and as a company as a whole. You will be able to identify the individuals in your team that are converting an above average ratio of Quotes to Orders and where the emphasis needs to be placed to increase the productivity of less well performing sales representatives.


This report allows you to analyse the number of Quotes and Orders and the relative Lost Orders and Conversion ratio that Sales Reps (DocumentHeader.SalesRep) have generated in a specified date range. This report can be run between a specified date range which provides statistical analysis over time and year-on-year to better understand the dynamics of your business.

Open Quotes Summary


QuoteWerks Report, Open Quotes Profit Analysis

Get an instant, up-to-the-minute snapshot of what sales your business has in the pipeline. Compare the Quoted Value of the items on the Quotes against the Estimated Turnover and Profit that Closing the Orders will bring.


The Open Quotes Summary report provides a high level summary of the Quotes which are with clients including the number of quoted items, the quoted value, estimated turnover and profit (factoring in the Close Probability of the Quotes). This base report is set up to report by Sales Representative but could very easily be modified to report by Sales Administrator, Company Type, Region, Manufacturer or other attributes pertinent to your business.

Lost Quotes (by Sales Rep, Document Level)


QuoteWerks Report, Lost Quote Analysis

Understanding why your business lost out in a tender can be just as informative (if not more so) as understanding how you won a tender. This report helps you understand at a high level how many tenders your business is losing and for what reason: competitive price, competitive products, etc.


This Lost Quotes (Document Level) report allows you to analyse the number of Quotes Lost during a specified date range and what the reason was for not winning the Order. The base report is set up to report by Sales Representative but could very easily be modified to report by Customer, Company Type, Region or other attributes pertinent to your business.

Understanding why your business lost out in a tender can be just as informative (if not more so) as understanding how you won a tender. This report helps you understand at a detailed level how many individual item tenders your business is losing and for what reason: competitive price, competitive products, etc.


The Lost Quotes (Item Level) report allows you to analyse the number of Quotes Lost during a specified date range and what the reason was for not winning the Order. This base report is set up to report by Item Type but could very easily be modified to report by Vendor, Manufacturer or other attributes pertinent to your business.

Missing Close Probability


QuoteWerks Report, Housekeeping, Missing Close Probability

Used conscientiously and built into Management Reports, the Close Probability attribute in QuoteWerks Line Items can be a very useful indicator for you in understanding the Sales Pipe. This report helps you in the housekeeping exercise of ensuring that Sales Representatives and Administrators complete this important field.


This Missing Close Probability report will return a list of all the open documents in the database which have Products or Services listed with a total Close Probability (DocumentItems.CloseProbability) of zero. The base report is set up to report on any documents that have a total Close Probability of zero. The report could very easily be enhanced to provide even better clarity in your business status. For example: depending on how you use the QuoteWerks Document Status within your business, to report on Quotes with a Close Probability of less than 75% that have a status of “Pending PO Number”. This can aid in identifying a potentially overlooked step in the Sales Cycle and ensuring that management reports provide accurate statements on the Sales Pipeline.

Missing Lost Comment

Understanding why your business lost out in a tender can be just as informative (if not more so) as understanding how you won a tender. This report aids the housekeeping exercise of making sure that your Sales Representatives and Administrators complete the Comment field.


The Missing Lost Comment report will return a list of all Quote documents in the database which have been lost (DocumentHeader.DocStatus) but no reason given in the Comment field (DocumentHeader.FOB). Note: FOB field is used in these examples to provide a F2 Lookup for reasons that a Quote might be lost: project on hold, competitor price, speculative, etc. This could easily be changed to one of the CustomText fields if you prefer.

Missing Vendor Details


QuoteWerks Report, Housekeeping, Vendor Details Missing

To allow you to use the QuoteWerks Purchase Order processing features, the user is required to complete the Vendor field. When you are just sending out a quick quote, the user can sometimes overlook deciding which Vendor they will use for a transaction. This report identifies all those oversights so that the user can return to the documents and complete the necessary field for those Quotes that do (or are more likely to) turn into Orders so that they are ready for immediate processing.


This report will return a list of all Quote or Order documents and respective Line Items in the database which do not have a Vendor specified for the Products and Service.
